Battle of the buds....

Bored of the Eurovision song contest? Yawning at the thought of the World Cup? Well this year sees another great, Eurofleurs 2010 taking part at the RHS Tatton Park from 21st to 25th July.

This competition takes place every four years and is organised by FLORINT, representing the national organisation of 20 European countries.

Its open to florists under the age of 25 all of which have to undergo a series of tough trials in their own country before being selected to represent their nation in the final, this year at Tatton Park organised by the BFA.

Flying the flag for Britain will be Joe Massie from Liverpool. Joe has an excellent floral pedigree having already won at five national competitions including RHS Chelsea - Young Florist of the Year.

In pursuit of the top prize, Joe will be set 5 tasks each themed around the concept of "Art at Tatton". This will take place in the BFA Marquee. Visitors will be able to see the contenstants work displayed until Friday 23 July. The actual competition will take place on 20th July.

Prices for tickets range from £19 - £27 (discount for RHS members)
