A national campaign to find Britain's most loved local businesses has discovered that eFlorist Ben N Zaks in Coventry is Britain's favourite florist.
Well over 100,000 local people from all corners of the UK put forward their nominations for their favourite local business as part of a national campaign run by local business champions: thebestof.co.uk/coventry.
Local business owners in Coventry - and their loyal staff - are feeling great because their efforts have been recognised and appreciated by so many of their customers.
Notable winners from Coventry were Ben N Zacs Florists who won 'the Most Loved' in the UK title for the second year in a row for the florist category.
Tracie turnbull from Ben N Zaks Florists said:
"We are absolutely thrilled at winning 'the Most Loved Florists' in the UK for the second year running! We would like to thank each and everyone of our customers for 'Sharing the Love' and saying such nice things about us, it really is appreciated." Tracie added "Peole don't always realise how hard it is running a business in the current economic climate, but reading all the lovely comments seems to make it all worthwhile and has certainly given us a lift."
Tracie told us that she has been a part of 'The bestofcoventry' for three years now, "They advise us on marketing and help us promote our business locally to both other businesses in the network and to the greater community. We have found it really worthwhile."
We asked Tracie about the photo, "That was part of a shop promotion last year," commented Tracie. "Thebestofcoventry organised a photo-shoot for us to promote the shop and then blew up the image (above: Tracie on the left, Kim on the right) so that we have a life-size one on our shop wall! It is a real talking point," she added. "And people come in and have their photo taken in front of it!"
"Bestof have really helped us with all our marketing including digital marketing, advising us on tweeting and helping us create a Facebook page. It has all really helped."
