It's National Tulip Day in Amsterdam this Saturday (19th January), marking the start of the Tulip season. If you happen to be there pop along to the Dam between 1330 and 1800 when you can pick your own flowers for free from a specially constructed 'picking garden' of some 200,000 tulips.
