Ever wondered who actually makes eFlorist work? Well, at HQ there are 9 guys and 1 girl (that’s me!) who spend every minute of the working day madly working in the background to ensure that all the systems are working efficiently.
Yes, we are a certain breed – methodical and dedicated. Nerdy? Never!
So who are we?
Dan – Online Marketing Developer. Dan’s the man who knows about online design and marketing. Brilliant when you need something visualised. Dan’s a musician on the side, with a passion for bluegrass and acoustic music.
Paul – Online Marketing Developer. Manages the intricacies of our consumer websites. What Paul doesn’t know about “Pay per click marketing” isn’t worth knowing, and he always has the stats to prove it.. Paul’s a racket sport fanatic and is renowned for his keen eye for an online deal.
Brad – Our resident Aussie who as Operations Manager makes sure that everything runs smoothly. Moved to England after hearing you didn’t have to be English to play for the national cricket team. Refuses to discuss The Ashes.
Chris – Another import, this time from Canada. As IT Manager Chris makes sure that all our internal systems are ticking over. He's travelled the world, but lately sits at the desk next to me!
Sarah – that’s me. Project Manager for eFlorist – All your suggestions for improvements come through me for development. Got married in December – and yes, I did my own flowers...
Ilyas – One of our eFlorist IT Developers, originally from Pakistan. Illyas is desperately trying to pass his driving test, with lots of encouragement from all of us. At the recent eFlorist Christmas party, we uncovered another of Ilyas’s talents – wow, can this man dance!
Michael – Works alongside Ilyas, Michael is our newest IT Developer and resident vegetarian. Loves wheat crunchies – just not the bacon flavoured ones!
John – IT Developer with a wealth of knowledge and one of the eFlorist V.1 originators. The man who had a pony tail for so long has now had it cut off. Wears leathers (for his motorbike of course) and is an inventor of weird and wonderful contraptions.
Rob – Our longest serving IT Developer. Makes sure all the systems are “glued” together. At weekends, Rob can be found frantically driving his daughter to dance competitions all round the country – Rob is also a long standing computer games fanatic!
Alistair – Is our “Boss” man (as Ilyas calls him). Proper title is IT Director. He is the man who can always find a solution to a problem, give us guidance when we need it and never shouts! Hates wearing a suit (especially with a tie) and is always the last one to leave the office.
